We are looking for an Engineer IV with a back end and integrations focus to help develop and operate a central Product Catalogue platform. The Product Catalogue provides transparency, governance and insight across products, digital services and business capabilities. It helps teams understand what products exist, who owns them, how they are governed, how they evolve over time and how they connect to other products and systems. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining reliable back end services, APIs and integrations. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and high-quality platform capabilities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain back end services and APIs
Build and support integrations with internal systems and platforms
Contribute to secure data handling, access control and audit requirements
Improve performance, reliability and operational stability
Work with engineers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product features
Apply engineering standards, best practices and quality principles
Support the ongoing evolution and productisation of the platform
Contribute to documentation, testing and operational readiness
Requirements:
Experience in back end development
Experience with service-based or API-led architectures
Experience working with APIs, data flows and system integrations
Awareness of security, reliability, scalability and software quality
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team
Willingness to learn and grow in a product-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with product catalogues, technology governance, service management, CMDB, portfolio management or enterprise platforms is a plus
