Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java or C#
  • Build, enhance, and support FHIR R4-compliant APIs and healthcare interoperability solutions
  • Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external healthcare systems
  • Develop and maintain integrations based on HL7 standards, including HL7 v2.x and FHIR (CDA/CCD is a plus)
  • Design and implement healthcare data models using JSON and XML
  • Ensure secure API design and implementation following OAuth2 authentication and HIPAA security best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices-based backend architecture
  • Develop and support cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Health Data Services, where applicable
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
  • Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality healthcare integration solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions while promoting engineering best practices
  • Support healthcare data exchange scenarios involving member, provider, and claims-related information across enterprise systems
