Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Back End Developer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a contract to hire position offering the opportunity to work on innovative projects in the high-tech engineering industry. The role involves building scalable backend solutions, leveraging cloud technologies, and integrating AI-driven functionality to enhance system capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement robust and scalable backend systems using Python and RESTful APIs
Develop cloud-native applications utilizing Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure Event Hubs
Integrate AI services to enable intelligent automation, document processing, and natural language capabilities
Optimize backend performance to ensure reliability and maintainability of systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend systems and integrations
Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard data and applications
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve backend processes
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met
Develop and maintain documentation for backend systems and processes

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development
Proficiency in Python and RESTful API design
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Blob Storage
Familiarity with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and cloud-native application development
Knowledge of AI services, including OpenAI and Azure AI tools, for intelligent system integration
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Understanding of software development best practices and security protocols
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment
