Wissen Technology is hiring for BA. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Capital Markets & Index Operations) with 10+ years of experience to lead product design, requirements gathering, and functional analysis for derivatives, securities products, and index operations platforms. The role involves collaborating with business, engineering, and operations stakeholders, designing functional workflows, and ensuring high‑quality product documentation and delivery. The ideal candidate has deep capital markets knowledge, strong analytical skills, and expertise in static data, security identifiers, and product lifecycle processes.

Job Responsibility

Drive product design for derivatives and securities platforms across trading, clearing, and post‑trade processes
Work closely with business, engineering, and operations teams to gather and translate requirements
Create and manage product backlogs, prioritizing features based on business value and regulatory needs
Write detailed use cases, user stories, functional requirements, and design documents
Support end‑to‑end requirement lifecycle, from elicitation to validation and stakeholder sign‑off
Perform process modeling, workflow mapping, and functional analysis
Manage static data requirements, security master attributes, and identifier mapping
Support integration design and data flow discussions with upstream and downstream teams
Ensure consistency, completeness, and quality of requirements documentation
Engage with global stakeholders and ensure strong communication across teams

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5+ years in capital markets or financial services
Deep understanding of trade lifecycles across equities, derivatives, structured products
Strong knowledge of security identifiers (ISIN, SEDOL, CUSIP, Bloomberg Ticker, RIC)
Solid grasp of asset class attributes across equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products
Proven experience with static data management, mapping, validation, and application
Proficiency in requirements gathering, functional design, process modeling, and use case modeling
Experience working with project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Kanban boards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Nice to have

Experience working with remote or global teams
Exposure trading, clearing, and post‑trade functions
Experience with multi‑vendor environments involving Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, etc.
Knowledge of index operations workflows and structured product processes
Familiarity with regulatory data and compliance requirements
Background in financial technology or market data platforms
