Job Description:

Reporting to Senior Sales Manager, this role will lead the development and delivery of exceptional training programs for Beauty Advisors, ensuring consistent brand messaging and elevating customer experiences across retail locations. This role is pivotal in translating global brand strategies into effective local training initiatives that inspire and empower our Beauty Advisor teams in Japan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies across product knowledge, customer service, and sales excellence
  • Oversee the training team and ensure alignment with brand and company goals
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback
  • Serve as a key liaison between Education, Sales, Marketing, and Retail teams
  • Design and execute training programs for both online and offline platforms
  • Create engaging content covering product knowledge, customer experience, and selling techniques
  • Establish annual training calendars aligned with marketing and launch plans
  • Monitor training impact through BA performance and customer feedback
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Retail Operations to ensure training supports business strategy
  • Provide insights and feedback to HQ and regional teams to localize training materials effectively
  • Collaborate with digital and event teams to support brand activations and campaigns
  • Lead and mentor the trainer team and Beauty Advisers across stores
  • Support BA productivity through coaching, on-the-job training, and performance reviews
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and career development of BAs
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for brand values and service excellence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field
  • advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in training or education roles within luxury beauty or cosmetics
  • Proven leadership in managing training teams and retail staff
  • Experience in curriculum development and performance evaluation
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and store visits
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and adapt to fast-paced retail environments

Nice to have:

Fluency in English and Japanese preferred
