B2C Interior Designer

• Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the Leader in life at home
• Use home furnishing ideas to create solutions for homes, offices and other areas that reflect the IKEA identity
• Gather insights from home visit interviews and translate into locally relevant home furnishing solutions
• Secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness when planning home furnishing projects
• Contribute to department action plan with initiatives to grow business and support profitability
• Conduct on-site observations, take brief and assess clients' needs
• Prepare and participate in client presentations
• Deliver results benefiting clients' brief within specified deadlines

• Experience of selling to customers by understanding their needs and able to address their concerns
• Experience of negotiating outcomes in a commercial context
• Strong leadership skills
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient on AutoCAD and Revit
• Fluent in Arabic & English
• Minimum of 3 years in an interior design role
• Interior design-based education
• Thorough knowledge of the role and responsibilities of the Communication & Interior Designer
• Strong interest in home furnishing and life at work
• Experience of working in the furniture industry
• Customer-focused mindset
• Ability to enthuse customers
