In the role of B2B Pricing Analyst, you will support the B2B team in daily operations and data analysis, helping drive smart, data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, evaluate pricing refinement, and ad-hoc analysis. Global Fuels is taking on an ambitious effort to improve B2B fuel pricing in North America by using advanced analytics and data modeling. The team is currently looking for an analyst that will be responsible for supporting pricing model development, transparency, and on-going BU support through data management, model accuracy reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and system enhancement development.
Job Responsibility:
Create and maintain data and dashboards in Power BI
Provide data-driven pricing insights to cross functional teams throughout approval process
Leverage available reporting and dashboards to provide timely insights on performance in a way that facilitates data driven decision making
Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to build and deploy reporting capabilities related to strategic initiatives
Analyze key pillars of price, promotion, assortment, placement and effectively communicate complex findings to non-analytical peers
Identify and make recommendations to improve existing processes
Provide analytical support to the NA B2B team, working on ad-hoc cross-functional projects as required
Participate in annual planning process and review of key B2B initiatives and milestones
Support the B2B sales team with questions related to our pricing tools
Collaborate with the B2B sales team to provide pricing recommendations to potential customers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or another analytical field
2+ years of work experience in pricing, finance, data analysis, or project management experience a plus
Experience with price, promotion, and assortment optimization is a strong asset
Strong analytical skillset with the ability to effectively manage priorities and risks
Ability to listen, be resourceful, and interpret information from a variety of sources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills to include navigational ability in a networked environment and proficiency in Microsoft Word and email applications
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and other data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau)
Experience with SQL is a plus
Due to global scope of the role working across time zones, flexibility around working hours is required
Comfortable with presenting to both customers and internal leadership and speaking to large audiences
