We’re looking for a growth-driven Account Manager to join our Bolt for Business team in Tanzania. This role is heavily focused on driving usage, upsell, and expansion within existing accounts. You’ll be on the front line with customers, making a high volume of activities, spotting opportunities, and scaling them across accounts and verticals. As the face of Bolt for Business, you will work closely with key businesses, deeply understand their operations, and actively drive adoption and growth of Bolt’s products.
Job Responsibility
Own the commercial performance of an assigned B2B portfolio with clear accountability for GMV, orders, and revenue growth targets
Drive account growth through regular client meetings, QBRs, and structured account plans, identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across Bolt products and client entities
Lead the onboarding of strategic, high-value clients to ensure strong early adoption and usage ramp
Monitor portfolio health proactively, flag at-risk accounts early, and execute retention interventions
Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecast management in Salesforce, ensuring data quality and accuracy
Collaborate with Customer Support on operational matters, stepping in only when commercial escalation is needed, and feed market intelligence back to inform regional strategy
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in Account Management, B2B Sales, Customer Success, or a similar commercial role with a proven track record of growing existing accounts
Comfortable owning commercial targets and operating with autonomy toward measurable outcomes
Structured thinker who builds and executes account plans rather than reacting to incoming requests
Strong relationship builder who earns trust quickly with business stakeholders at multiple levels
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) for pipeline and account management
Fluent in Swahili and English
Proactive, growth-hungry, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Using AI daily is a baseline expectation
