The B2 Avionics Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. The B2 Avionics Technician will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B2 Avionics Technician will perform OJT on location as required.

Requirements:
Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
Work as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environment
Undertake individually or as part of a team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures
Check every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use
Check every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correct
Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification, system repairs, first level Quality inspection and functional tests of aircraft and components
Analyze performance and isolates malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systems
Conduct checkouts of avionic instrument and flight control systems and components (including repairs, overhauls, modifications, alignments, installation)
Inspects avionic instrument and flight control systems
Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis
Ensure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials
Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated, the aircraft condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service of the aircraft
Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the Airbus
Conduct on-the-job training activity
Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals
Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
