Job Responsibility
Certify maintenance and repair activities on rotary aircraft
carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections
perform fault diagnosis, repairs, modifications, and component replacement
complete maintenance on airframe, powerplant, mechanical, and electrical systems
replace avionic line replaceable units and perform associated serviceability testing
supervise maintenance fitters and certify completed work
ensure compliance with Part 145, Part M, and applicable regulatory requirements
assist with aircraft movements and day-to-day hangar operations
maintain accurate maintenance documentation and certification records
support safe and efficient aircraft operations at all times
Requirements
Part 66 B1.3 Licence
thorough knowledge of rotary aircraft engine and airframe systems
experience within aircraft maintenance and certification environments
strong understanding of aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements
ability to supervise maintenance activities and work independently when required
H135 and/or H145 experience (desirable)
military aviation experience (desirable)
knowledge of rotary training operations (desirable)
previous experience within Part 145 environments (desirable)
