Job Description

A well-established UK airline operating from London City Airport is seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its line maintenance team, supporting a modern Embraer E190 fleet. This is a rare opportunity to work in one of Europe’s most unique airport environments, defined by short runways, steep approaches, and high-frequency operations. You’ll gain broad exposure across both scheduled and reactive maintenance while working within a close-knit, highly professional team.

Job Responsibility

  • Routine servicing and defect rectification of the Embraer E190 fleet
  • Scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
  • AOG recovery support in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance

Requirements

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with at least one type rating held
  • Experience in both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to hold an airport restricted pass and airside driving permit

Embraer 190 type rating desirable
