Requirements

Valid Alberta B-Pressure Welding Ticket and Journeyman/Red Seal Certification is mandatory
Proven expertise in MIG roots and Flux-core capping
CWB tickets are a significant asset
3+ years of experience performing your own fit-ups on various pipe diameters
Ability to pass a rigorous weld test (2 1/2" XS, GMAW root, Flux-core cap)
You must own your own CSA-approved steel-toe boots, welding helmet, and respirator

Job Responsibility

Perform B Pressure welding on pipes ranging from 2" to 60" using MIG (GMAW) roots and Flux-core (FCAW) caps
Independently complete components fitting according to blueprints and technical specifications
Utilize rolling systems for welding and support projects from initial setup through to finishing
Maintain the integrity of seam and circ welds to meet strict industrial and safety standards
Work closely with the shop team to ensure production targets are met, assisting in other areas of the facility during work delays if needed
