Job Description:

Banquets & Food Agent position at W Melbourne luxury hotel, responsible for serving food and beverages, setting tables, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in award-winning event spaces.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to event type and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability
Relay meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
Record transactions in MICROS system
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Complete opening & closing duties
Present checks to guests and process payments
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
Support team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to team member concerns

Requirements:

Experience in a dynamic restaurant or banquets setting
Proactive and upbeat demeanor
Keen to take on new challenges and grow within career
Current Victorian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
Polished professionalism with audacious approach to creativity
Playful individual passionate in creating memorable guest experiences
