The applicant shall apply T&E knowledge and experience to support systems and subsystems development, procurement, and sustainment activities throughout their life cycles; this includes pre/post award project/program T&E tasks.
Job Responsibility
Assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of T&E programs (including any applicable military certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones
Assist in reviewing/developing/updating applicable program documentation for T&E management requirements across the full spectrum of actions required to award contracts to include, but not limited to: pre-award documentation, development of evaluation criteria, evaluation of weapon system applicant proposals to ensure compliance with programmatic requirements, and post-award documentation actions with a properly signed and approved Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Support development of documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule, and performance
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required
A High School Diploma plus 16 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 10 years, a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years or a Master's degree plus 6 years of experience is required
Multiple positions requiring an active Secret to Top Secret security clearance
At least 10 years of T&E experience including experience in managing weapon system platforms
Understanding of the acquisition process and of the entire system(s) being acquired to establish test objectives necessary to ensure a thorough, meaningful test program that will meet program office objectives
Understanding of DoD and USAF T&E regulations, processes, and procedures to support the design, planning, execution, and analysis phases of test programs and assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones
The applicant shall demonstrate proficiency equivalent to that of a Defense Acquisition T&E Level III certification
Experience in SPO test management, Test program sets, Test execution with test organizations at Eglin AFB, Edwards AFB, Arnold Engineering Development Center, or other test agencies, and Test resourcing and/or policy at Major Command or Air Staff levels
