Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure Support Specialist (5–9 years) to support and enhance the stability, reliability, and performance of critical settlement flows running across on‑premises and Azure cloud environments. This role involves production support (L3), incident management, platform reliability engineering, automation, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud-native operations, observability, troubleshooting distributed systems, and working with Java/Python codebases.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure stability and resilience of critical settlement systems running across on-prem and Azure cloud platforms
  • Provide L3 Production Management support for Java-based applications
  • Act as a bridge between support and development teams to drive quicker issue resolution
  • Manage and communicate during critical incidents, keeping management and business stakeholders updated
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across software, infrastructure, and database layers
  • Improve performance, scalability, observability, and reliability of systems
  • Implement telemetry, monitoring, and logging using Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Develop automation to increase system uptime and reduce operational risk
  • Support application deployments and collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and performance
  • Work with developers and infrastructure engineers to implement automated reliability solutions
  • Contribute to improving the codebase and support tooling within the production environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including minimum 2 years in L3 Production Support
  • Hands-on experience supporting applications deployed on Azure Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of observability and reliability engineering in cloud-native systems
  • Expertise in analyzing, debugging, and troubleshooting distributed applications
  • Proficiency with Python and Java for debugging and automation tasks
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage high-pressure incidents and drive them to resolution
