This is a great opportunity to join our client who is undertaking a major transformation of its Azure cloud platform and operational model. Historically, a large proportion of the organisation’s Azure estate has been operated by incumbent third-party suppliers within supplier-managed Azure tenants and operating models. They are now transitioning toward a modern, governance-led Azure platform capability aligned to Microsoft Landing Zone principles, the Azure Well-Architected Framework, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and a multi-supplier operating model. To support this transition, our client requires an experienced Azure contractor to augment the existing Cloud Office capability by providing additional hands-on engineering, operational architecture, and technical delivery support across the Azure platform estate. The role is intended to increase the operational bandwidth and technical delivery capability of the existing Cloud Office function, enabling the internal cloud leadership and architecture function to focus on future-state platform strategy, target operating model definition, supplier transition activity, and strategic governance.
