Job Description

An experienced Azure Platform Engineer who is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and security. You will join a highly technical team responsible for maintaining and improving critical fraud detection capabilities that help protect millions of customers from payment fraud. This is an opportunity to work within a security-focused environment where innovation, automation, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything you do.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep
  • Automate operational and deployment processes using Ansible and Bash scripting
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML
  • Identify manual processes and drive automation initiatives to improve scalability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers, security specialists, architects, and data professionals to deliver secure and reliable solutions
  • Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices across the team
  • Explore and introduce new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve platform capabilities
  • Contribute to platform stability, security, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Strong Bash scripting skills
  • Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using YAML
  • Strong automation mindset with a focus on eliminating repetitive manual work
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or guiding other engineers
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively exploring new technologies
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Familiarity with Java development
