Job Description

We are looking for Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, automation, and software development infrastructure to help lead the evolution of our Data Management Platforms team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Data Mesh Platform, built on Azure and Databricks, enabling teams across the organization to develop, deploy, and operate scalable data products reliably and efficiently. You will play a critical role in architecting and optimizing robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solutions, ensuring the platform remains secure, performant, and resilient while leveraging the latest Microsoft and cloud engineering best practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based data platform services, with a strong focus on Azure Databricks
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Manage and optimize Azure environments, including Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to support platform automation
  • Contribute to standards for security, cost optimization, performance, and code quality
  • Implement automated deployment, testing, and monitoring to ensure reliable and secure delivery
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and developer experience
  • Troubleshoot platform and pipeline issues across the data platform
  • Support deployment processes and operational tasks, including ticket-based requests where required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
  • Practical experience with Azure Databricks in production environments
  • Strong experience with Git and Terraform
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using YAML-based systems
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Solid understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Communication, organizational and analytical skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, or similar data platform services
  • Familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace, SonarCloud, AquaSecurity, or similar
  • Azure or Databricks certifications
  • Familiarity with SAFe delivery environments
  • Experience working with enterprise ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
