This role is central to shaping Terraform‑based platform standards, governing CI/CD pipelines, and enabling secure, compliant, and self‑service cloud adoption at scale. The individual will act as a technical authority, setting direction while collaborating closely with architecture, security, and delivery teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define, own, and evolve Terraform IaC standards, reference architectures, and Azure landing zones
  • Provide design authority for infrastructure automation across global Azure platforms
  • Own platform roadmaps aligned with Vodafone cloud, security, and governance strategies
  • Design, develop, and operate IaC pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Embed security, compliance, and policy controls directly into CI/CD pipelines
  • Drive governance, quality, and reliability across infrastructure delivery pipelines
  • Implement Policy‑as‑Code, RBAC, tagging standards, encryption, and network controls
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security and FinOps teams to ensure regulatory and cost alignment
  • Mentor and guide platform engineers and senior IaC specialists across distributed teams

Requirements:

  • An experienced cloud and platform engineering professional with deep expertise in Terraform and Azure
  • Confident working with Azure IaaS, networking, identity, and security services
  • Skilled in Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD automation, and enterprise DevOps practices
  • Comfortable operating as a technical authority and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative communicator with a strong documentation and quality mindset
  • Experienced in guiding others, sharing knowledge, and enabling technical capability growth
  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Brings 8–10 years of overall experience, including significant time in cloud and IaC leadership roles
