Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in software development and a strong focus on Azure Data Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to best practices in software development.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Implement data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data processing and transformation
  • Monitor and optimize data integration processes for performance and reliability
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data integration and software development
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java
  • Experience with data storage solutions like Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and Data Lakes
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data integration and Azure technologies

Nice to have

  • Experience with other Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello
