Azure Cloud Engineer 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Home Based / Southampton (onsite 2 – 3 days a MONTH) Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 (+ on call, excellent benefits) Skills: Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Azure Automation Runbooks, PowerShell, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, We are looking to recruit an Azure Cloud Engineer for a technology driven public sector organisation. This is a senior technical role focused on strengthening and modernising a Microsoft cloud environment. The organisation is looking for someone with strong hands-on Azure experience who can act as a technical escalation point, support cloud-first delivery, improve operational automation and help close key skills gaps across Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and Azure automation. This is not a traditional on-prem infrastructure role with a small amount of cloud. The successful candidate will bring genuine Azure cloud engineering experience, ideally alongside a good understanding of hybrid Microsoft environments. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work onsite at my client’s office in Southampton 2 / 3 days in a month.
