Job Description:

Amla Commerce is recruiting an Azure Architect for the India location. As an Azure Architect, your primary responsibility is to design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of the organization. You will play a crucial role in architecting cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability while optimizing cost-effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, best practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Cloud Architecture: Design and develop Azure cloud architectures that align with the organization's business objectives. This includes creating robust, scalable, and secure solutions
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform to automate the deployment of infrastructure and applications
Cloud Security: Ensure the security of Azure resources and data by implementing best practices, identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring
Cost Optimization: Optimize Azure resource utilization and costs by implementing cost-effective solutions, right-sizing resources, and monitoring usage
Migration and Deployment: Lead migration projects to move on-premises applications and workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Azure services and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to the existing cloud infrastructure
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security professionals, to ensure seamless integration of Azure services into the organization's ecosystem
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure architecture, configurations, and procedures
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and expertise for Azure-related issues, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
Compliance and Governance: Ensure Azure deployments meet compliance and governance requirements, including data privacy regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, or Azure Security Engineer
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure solutions
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices
Knowledge of Azure monitoring and automation tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus
