Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Azure Architect to lead complex infrastructure transformations. In this role, you won't just design solutions; you will govern the technical strategy, mentor a dedicated team of engineers, and bridge the gap between deep technical Linux administration and high-level Azure cloud architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end On-prem/Public Cloud assessments using Azure Migrate
  • Develop High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, including comprehensive target architecture diagrams and Bill of Materials (BoM)
  • Drive large-scale migrations of Linux-based workloads to Azure
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Linux environments, managing kernel tuning, logical volumes, shell scripting, and advanced networking (bonding, bridging, and DNS)
  • Oversee Azure IAM, Key Vault, and general security protocols within a UNIX environment
  • Implement and tune high-performance web stacks using Apache, Varnish for caching, and HAProxy for load balancing
  • Manage and technically govern a team of 5+ infrastructure engineers

Requirements:

  • 12+ years in IT
  • 5+ years specifically focused on Azure Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS, Networking, Storage)
  • Proven track record using Azure Migrate and driving complex solutioning for banking, healthcare, or insurance domains
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux systems (OS restoration, daemon management, Postfix/SendMail, and file-based storage like NFS/SMB)
  • Deep understanding of Azure Networking, SIAM, and data security
  • Expert-level ability to perform root-cause analysis on processor, memory, IO, and cluster-related issues
  • Active SC Clearance is required.(Mandatory)

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Chef
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Hands-on experience with TLS termination and web traffic optimization
