Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Administrator to manage and support our cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is responsible for administering Azure services, Microsoft 365 environments, endpoint management through Intune, and data governance using Purview. The ideal candidate will ensure security, compliance, and optimal performance across all platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain Azure environments including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure tools
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including users, groups, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Configure and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Manage user provisioning, licensing, and access policies
  • Configure security settings such as Conditional Access, MFA, and Defender policies
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues and ensure service uptime
  • Configure and manage device enrollment (Windows, iOS, Android, macOS)
  • Implement and maintain device compliance and configuration policies
  • Deploy applications and updates through Intune
  • Manage endpoint security policies including antivirus, encryption, and firewall settings
  • Support remote device management and troubleshooting
  • Implement data governance, classification, and labeling policies
  • Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365
  • Conduct compliance audits, eDiscovery, and retention policies
  • Monitor and respond to compliance alerts and risks
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview compliance tools
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID), networking, and security best practices
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred)

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert)
  • Experience with Zero Trust security models
  • Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud)
  • Knowledge of identity federation (ADFS, SSO)
