Job Description:

The Azure Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This role includes provisioning resources, ensuring security and compliance, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting application and DevOps teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Azure Infrastructure Management (provision and manage resources, configure subscriptions, capacity planning, implement availability solutions)
  • Identity & Access Management (manage Azure AD, implement RBAC, configure Conditional Access and MFA, integrate on-premises AD)
  • Networking (configure and manage VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, set up VPN and ExpressRoute, configure Load Balancer and Firewall, troubleshoot)
  • Compute & Storage Administration (deploy and maintain VMs, manage disks and backups, configure Storage services, implement Backup and Site Recovery)
  • Monitoring, Backup & DR (monitor resources using Azure Monitor, analyze metrics and logs, implement backup and DR strategies, perform DR drills)
  • Security & Compliance (implement security best practices, configure Security Center / Defender, manage secrets with Key Vault, ensure compliance)
  • Automation & Optimization (automate tasks using PowerShell/Azure CLI/ARM/Bicep, assist DevOps teams, optimize costs, support IaC)
  • Troubleshooting & Support (provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot VM/network/storage/identity issues, coordinate with Microsoft support, document procedures)

Requirements:

  • 3/5 Years experience
  • Microsoft Azure platform knowledge
  • Azure Services knowledge (Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Backup & Site Recovery, Monitor & Log Analytics)
  • Identity management knowledge (Azure Active Directory, RBAC, MFA)
  • Automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
  • IaC knowledge (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform basic)
  • OS knowledge (Windows Server, Linux)
  • Security knowledge (Azure Key Vault, Defender for Cloud)
  • Cost Management knowledge (Azure Cost Management & Billing)

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
