The Azure Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This role includes provisioning resources, ensuring security and compliance, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting application and DevOps teams.
Networking (configure and manage VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, set up VPN and ExpressRoute, configure Load Balancer and Firewall, troubleshoot)
Compute & Storage Administration (deploy and maintain VMs, manage disks and backups, configure Storage services, implement Backup and Site Recovery)
Monitoring, Backup & DR (monitor resources using Azure Monitor, analyze metrics and logs, implement backup and DR strategies, perform DR drills)
Security & Compliance (implement security best practices, configure Security Center / Defender, manage secrets with Key Vault, ensure compliance)
Automation & Optimization (automate tasks using PowerShell/Azure CLI/ARM/Bicep, assist DevOps teams, optimize costs, support IaC)
Troubleshooting & Support (provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot VM/network/storage/identity issues, coordinate with Microsoft support, document procedures)
