Requirements

Valid AZ or DZ license with a clean, current driver abstract (no more than 3 demerits)
Minimum 2 years of heavy truck driving experience—delivery experience preferred
Able to repeatedly lift and move heavy product (up to 50 lbs) throughout your shift
Must be comfortable working in cold and warm environments
Working smartphone and willingness to use it for work
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Criminal background check (required upon hiring)

Job Responsibility

Delivering a variety of products directly into customer retail store locations throughout the GTA
Physically handling and unloading freight using tailgates, hand carts, and dollies (no ramps)
Completing 10-hour shifts, four/five shifts per week
Operating company-owned tandem axle trucks (automatic transmission)
Maintaining accurate logs and completing pre/post-trip inspections
Building positive relationships with store staff while maintaining a high level of customer service

Job Responsibility

Safely operate Heavy Trucks (Tandem/Tri-axle), Trailer, and pups
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient transport process
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer
and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Secure loads properly, ensuring that all items are safely strapped and secured for transport
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including driver logs
Communicate effectively with dispatch, other drivers, and on-site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups
Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck and trailer
