Job Description:

The AYS Agent position serves as a central point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism while adhering to company standards and delivering a meaningful guest experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Answer, record, and process all guest requests, questions, or concerns via telephone, email, chat, and mobile communication devices
  • operate telephone switchboard
  • process guest requests for wake-up calls
  • connect and direct calls to the appropriate extension
  • receive, record, and relay messages accurately
  • log all guest requests or issues into a computer
  • contact appropriate individual or department such as Bellperson or Housekeeping
  • follow up with guests to ensure their requests are resolved
  • provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest
  • process room service orders and record transactions in the point-of-sale system
  • assist guests with accessing internet and guestroom entertainment
  • comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • perform reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • no related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • none indicated for license or certification
  • ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
  • stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation.
