Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QE Lead to lead our quality engineering efforts, focusing on test automation, API testing, and ETL validation. The ideal candidate will drive testing strategy, mentor QE team members, and ensure comprehensive quality coverage across our data-driven applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of QE engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
  • Test Strategy Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Automation Framework Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python
  • API Testing Create and execute comprehensive API test suites for RESTful and SOAP services
  • ETL Validation Develop automated testing solutions for ETL processes and data pipeline validation
  • Quality Metrics Establish quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement processes
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality standards

Requirements:

  • 10 years in QE with 3 years in leadership lead role
  • Expert-level experience in Robot Framework for test automation
  • Strong programming skills in Python for test automation and scripting
  • Advanced SQL skills for database testing and data validation
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL testing methodologies and data validation
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and defect management

Nice to have:

  • Automation Tools Selenium, Appium, or similar web mobile automation tools
  • Testing Frameworks pytest, unit test, or other Python testing frameworks
  • Database Systems Experience with multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • CI/CD Integration Experience integrating automated tests into CICD pipelines
  • Performance Testing Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies
  • Version Control Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
