We are looking for a Lead AWS Solutions Architect with AI/ML skills and at least one active AWS certification: SA Pro / ML Specialty or Assoc / GenAI Pro. Our two main focus areas are migration projects (MAP program) and AI/ML solutions (Bedrock, SageMaker) as part of the AI Competency. Our clients range from small product teams to large enterprises with legacy infrastructure. Our architecture team consists of 10+ people. Projects are run autonomously, but solutions go through cross-reviews and team discussions – we have joint case study sessions and a shared knowledge base. There is no isolation or "forgotten on a project" culture. Our structure is flat, with no management layers or lengthy approval chains. Architects directly influence tool selection, shape internal standards, and drive practices.
Job Responsibility:
Presale – intro calls with clients, clarifying use cases, business requirements, and constraints, often extracting clear technical tasks from conflicting or vague business needs, preparing and presenting architecture and project plans
Assessment and planning – evaluating the client's current infrastructure, designing target architecture, prototyping AI/ML solutions, estimating phases and timelines with a focus on cost, maintainability, and compliance with best practices (WAF), planning data mobilization and migration
Implementation – Landing Zone, refining requirements during the process, close communication with the client at all stages, executing migration, fine-tuning infrastructure
Handover and support – acceptance testing, handover, initial operational support
Working with AWS architects – engaging with Amazon Solution Architects on technical matters, requesting solution validation, coordinating funding through partner programs
Upselling – identifying opportunities to expand scope and proposing them to the client – not a mandatory requirement but a valuable skill
Requirements:
5–8 years in IT, with at least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience
Programming – Python and TypeScript at a level sufficient for automation, writing/refactoring Lambda functions, and prototypes
Soft skills – fluent English (C1+) is mandatory as the primary working language with clients
Ability to break down complex technical solutions for business audiences
Capacity to extract clear tasks from messy briefings
Autonomy – you own the project from start to finish
Certifications – AWS Solutions Architect Professional, ML Engineer Specialty or Associate, or Gen AI Developer Professional – any of these is a significant plus
