As an AWS DevOps Tech Lead, candidate with minimum 8+ years of experience will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance development processes and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design and implementation of scalable AWS architectures
Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security
Mentor and guide team members on best practices in DevOps and AWS
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications
Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture, processes, and procedures
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends to enhance our cloud strategy
Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of experience
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security practices
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a complex distributed environment
Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS environments
Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and serverless architecture
Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to have:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Experience in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
