Job Description

As an AWS DevOps Tech Lead, candidate with minimum 8+ years of experience will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance development processes and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable AWS architectures
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in DevOps and AWS
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture, processes, and procedures
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends to enhance our cloud strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a complex distributed environment
  • Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS environments
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and serverless architecture
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to have

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
