The AWS DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions on AWS cloud platforms. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and AWS cloud services, with strong hands-on experience in CI/CD practices and tooling. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required. Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions on AWS cloud platforms
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
Configure, monitor, and optimize application environments for performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, infrastructure, product) to support application delivery and operations
Lead troubleshooting efforts across application, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
Implement and manage DevOps toolchains, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automation frameworks
Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvements
Drive adoption of cloud best practices, DevOps methodologies, and Agile processes across teams
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and guide broader engineering teams
Maintain documentation and workflows using tools such as Confluence and Jira
Support production environments and ensure high availability and incident resolution
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
5+ years of strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
5+ years of proven experience in AWS DevOps practices and tooling
5+ years of expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
5+ years of experience with version control systems (Git)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience in automation, scripting, and infrastructure provisioning
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex issues
Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Exposure to multi-cloud environments
Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments
