Job Description

The AWS DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions on AWS cloud platforms. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and AWS cloud services, with strong hands-on experience in CI/CD practices and tooling. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required. Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions on AWS cloud platforms
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize application environments for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, infrastructure, product) to support application delivery and operations
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts across application, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
  • Implement and manage DevOps toolchains, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automation frameworks
  • Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvements
  • Drive adoption of cloud best practices, DevOps methodologies, and Agile processes across teams
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and guide broader engineering teams
  • Maintain documentation and workflows using tools such as Confluence and Jira
  • Support production environments and ensure high availability and incident resolution

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in AWS DevOps practices and tooling
  • 5+ years of expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in automation, scripting, and infrastructure provisioning
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
  • Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex issues
  • Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments
