Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud-based data solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics and FP&A processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement scalable AWS Data Lake and modern data architecture solutions for large-scale data management and analytics
  • Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS-native tools and modern data engineering frameworks
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across ingestion and transformation flows
  • Develop data integration solutions to support FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting, and enterprise decision-making processes
  • Optimize AWS environments for performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and automation
  • Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, data cataloging, lineage, security, IAM, and compliance across the Data Lake
  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions aligned with business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles
  • Proven experience designing and deploying AWS Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
  • Strong experience in enterprise-scale data integration and large data processing systems
  • Experience supporting FP&A, analytics, BI, or enterprise reporting environments is a plus
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, Lake Formation, and related tools
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, warehousing concepts, and metadata management
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs

Nice to have

  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Analytics Specialty, or Database Specialty
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
  • Experience implementing advanced data security and compliance best practices
