We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud-based data solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics and FP&A processes.
Job Responsibility:
Design and implement scalable AWS Data Lake and modern data architecture solutions for large-scale data management and analytics
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS-native tools and modern data engineering frameworks
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across ingestion and transformation flows
Develop data integration solutions to support FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting, and enterprise decision-making processes
Optimize AWS environments for performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and automation
Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, data cataloging, lineage, security, IAM, and compliance across the Data Lake
Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions aligned with business needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
15+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles
Proven experience designing and deploying AWS Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
Strong experience in enterprise-scale data integration and large data processing systems
Experience supporting FP&A, analytics, BI, or enterprise reporting environments is a plus
Hands-on expertise with AWS services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, Lake Formation, and related tools
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, warehousing concepts, and metadata management
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
Nice to have:
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Analytics Specialty, or Database Specialty
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
Experience implementing advanced data security and compliance best practices
