Job Description

InfusionPoints’ AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer team manages, builds and migrates applications, software, and services in AWS for highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate ensures that solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud and will focus on compliance, security, governance, maintainability, scalability, cost and business continuity.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute implementation plans in the AWS environment for a variety of AWS Services
  • Achieve expert knowledge of existing Terraform, Packer, BASH, python processes and procedures
  • Support our existing AWS environment
  • Achieve expert Cloud Infrastructure Troubleshooting Skills

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn rapidly and willing to stretch your technology comfort zone
  • Real world AWS production experience with hands on implementation experience in a regulated environment across a broad range of AWS services
  • Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including: Organizations, Multi-Account Design, VPC, Networking, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating systems in a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with NIST and DoD Security Frameworks
  • Team oriented with an emphasis on collaboration, open mindedness and knowledge sharing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 3+ years relevant experience

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (AWS CodeCommit, AWSCode…, etc.)
  • Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS environments as code
  • Good knowledge of SAML/OAUTH/JWT/JSON/YAML web service API implementation
  • Nice to have at least one AWS certification
