Aws Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibility

Drive the migration of enterprise applications and infrastructure from on-premises environments into AWS while minimizing disruption to business operations
Create and refine AWS architecture designs that emphasize scalability, security, performance, and operational reliability
Use AWS migration services and related tooling, including Migration Hub and DataSync, to plan, coordinate, and execute workload transitions
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation to improve consistency, speed, and governance
Implement cloud security controls and configuration standards that align with regulatory expectations and internal compliance requirements
Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to assess current environments, define migration approaches, and resolve cloud deployment challenges
Optimize AWS-based environments by monitoring resource usage, improving configurations, and supporting stable post-migration operations
Other duties as needed

Requirements

5+ years of AWS experience
Proven datacenter-to-cloud migration expertise
Strong knowledge of EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS
Experience with migration toolsets and frameworks

Nice to have

Financial services industry experience
AWS certifications
