AWS Cloud Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for business-critical applications
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance using CloudWatch and Trusted Advisor
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Manage containerized workloads using ECS, EKS, or Docker
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
• Apply AWS security best practices and compliance standards
• Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native solutions
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and configurations
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects
• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning

• 5 - 10+ years of experience
• 5+ years in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Functional knowledge of application orchestration
• Good hands-on experience with developing applications with Java Springboot
• Knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL)
• AWS Expertise: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, ALB/NLB
• IaC: Proficient in Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or similar
• CI/CD: Experience with pipelines and automation tools
• Containers: Docker, ECS/EKS
• Networking: VPC design, subnets, security groups, NACLs
• Security: IAM policies, KMS, Secrets Manager
• Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with multi-account setups and landing zones

Candidates with Python scripting knowledge are preferable
