Job Description:

AWS Cloud Devops Technical Manager role at Sopra Steria, a major Tech player in Europe with 50,000 employees. The role involves leading the infrastructure team and working with cloud technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the Infra team
Manage Kubernetes (EKS)
Implement and maintain build and release pipelines
Cloud-native software architecture
Cloud security patterns
Application monitoring and healing

Requirements:

Total Experience Expected: 10-14 years
Professional Experience in Cloud-native software architecture (Microservices, Patterns, DDD)
Working with internal developer platforms such as backstage
AWS Platform (Infrastructure, Services, Administration, Provisioning, Monitoring)
Managing Kubernetes (EKS)
Operations
Networking
Autoscaling
High Availability
ELK Stack
GitOps based deployments (argocd)
Working with basic web technologies (DNS, HTTPS, TLS, JWT, OAuth2.0, OIDC)
Container Technology such as Docker
Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
Experience in Cloud Monitoring, Alerting, Observability mechanisms e.g. via Elastic Stack
Application Monitoring & Healing
Defining, Implementing and Maintaining build and release pipelines -> Continuous Deployment
Working with git version control systems
Code Collaboration Platforms (AWS DevOps, GitHub)
Cloud Security patterns
Developing software based on Spring & Spring Boot
Preparation of Release and deployment scripts (In test and production environments)
Soft Skills: Demonstrates willingness & skillsets to lead the Infra team
BE, MCA, BTech qualifications
