Job Description:

Altius Technologies is actively hiring AWS Cloud Architects to join our consultant bench (W2). As projects ramp up, you'll be matched with client engagements that align with your strengths in architecture, scalability, migration, and optimization within the AWS ecosystem. This is a great fit for experienced architects looking for steady, challenging opportunities with a trusted consulting partner.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure AWS solutions for enterprise clients
Lead architecture discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and roadmap planning
Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and client stakeholders
Optimize AWS cost, security, and performance
Guide cloud migration and modernization strategies (on-prem to cloud, hybrid, or multi-cloud)
Prepare architecture documentation and present technical solutions to clients

Requirements:

7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in cloud architecture (AWS required)
Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, VPC, IAM, etc.
Experience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
Proficiency with DevOps tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines)
Familiarity with security best practices, identity/access management, and cloud networking
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
Experience with Kubernetes/EKS or containerized deployments
Background in SAP on AWS, serverless applications, or data lakes
Experience in client-facing consulting roles
