Job Description

Wissen Technology is now hiring for AWS Cloud Architect with relevant experience. Experience - 7 to 14 years. The position is highly technical and focused on supporting agile software development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Software Engineer with extensive Cloud experience. The candidate will be a self-starter, able to act independently, and take ownership of key technology initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with other members of the Engineering and Product teams to help design, implement and operationalize our cloud platform
  • Involved in a wide array of challenging projects
  • Responsible for building, enhancing and extending our cloud platform and CI/CD pipelines with the goal of moving changes to Production faster and safer, while ensuring operational best practices are supported within given timelines
  • Supporting agile software development

Requirements

  • 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS/Azure preferred)
  • 3+ years of software development experience and expertise in a number of coding and scripting languages/frameworks including Python, Node.js, Typescript/Javascript, Bash
  • Experience in Server less technologies including AWS Lambda
  • Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
  • Experience with monitoring tools/frameworks (Prometheus preferred)
  • Experience in AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform with other AWS Services/Templates (infrastructure as code)
  • Expertise in SDLC, CI/CD, and related activities (GitHub/GitHub Actions preferred)
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • Experience with data streaming and other distributed system architecture
