AWS Architect - Afternoon Shift

• Own the technical roadmap, defining and implementing complex, scalable, and secure architecture across multiple projects
• Lead architecture reviews, ensuring the proposed solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Advise on the strategic integration of AI/GenAI technologies to improve system capabilities and deliver innovative business solutions
• Collaborate with business leaders and clients to align technology strategy with business objectives, translating complex architectures into clear, actionable plans
• Oversee the execution of technical designs, ensuring best practices in architecture, development, and DevOps (CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure) are consistently followed across teams
• Act as a thought leader, identifying emerging technology trends (AI/GenAI, cloud, microservices) and advising the organization on their application
• Embrace and promote a consulting mindset, actively engaging with clients to understand their needs, deliver technical recommendations, and propose scalable, innovative solutions that create business impact
• Lead client engagements, offering technical expertise in high-level discussions, delivering architectural guidance and ensuring technical alignment with business goals
• Provide mentorship to architects and development teams, fostering a strong culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning
• Play a key role in recruiting top technical talent for the team, ensuring alignment with both technical expertise and organizational culture
• Serve as a strategic advisor on architecture decisions and thought leadership, continuously guiding teams and clients on technology best practices and innovations, including AI/GenAI integration were beneficial
• Collaborate with the sales department on presales activities to identify client needs and provide technical expertise during the sales process

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 8-12 years of hands-on experience with AWS architecture, design, and deployment
• Strong experience leading large-scale on-prem to AWS migration projects (applications, databases, infrastructure)
• Deep understanding of AWS core services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, ELB, EKS/ECS, etc.
• Expertise in migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, DMS, SMS, and Server Migration Service
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts: VPN, Direct Connect, subnets, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
• Experience with configuring site to site and point to site VPN between AWS and on premises network
• Experience with automation and IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and modernization approaches
• Experience designing solutions with high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization
• Built and executed end-to-end migration strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, etc.)
• Conducted cloud readiness assessments, architecture reviews, and gap analysis
• Experience with data migration (databases, storage, workloads)
• Hands-on expertise in application modernization where required
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices: IAM roles, encryption, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, SCPs
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO, SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR (as relevant)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, infra, security, business teams)
• Strong communication skills to present architecture decisions and migration plans
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (strong preference)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or any specialty certification (Security, Networking, etc.) is a plus
