Join the Strategy team to develop strategic plans in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team. You'll set the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy to ensure sustainable growth and alignment with ESG standards, positioning Barclays for long-term success.
Job Responsibility:
Define strategic group objectives of internal functions including, financial and business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions
Develop Co-Brand Value Proposition that will commence with AARP and evolve as we onboard more partners
Partner with PMO and Product office to deliver new Product on time and in budget that meets the needs of Co-Brand Business
Partner with CX, Marketing and Branding to deliver Go-to-market Communication strategy and Customer Journey
Development and execution of acquisition, disposal and strategic partnership activities, and other strategic transactions on behalf of the Barclays Group
Monitoring and evaluation of the financial performance, market position and strategic fit of potential acquisition and partnership targets
Development of business cases for potential acquisitions, including financial projections, strategic rationale, and synergy assessments
Collaboration across departments to develop deal structures that align to the banks objectives to negotiate deals with potential acquisition targets
Management and communication of post-merger integration plans and processes, including culture, operations, and systems
Identification of industry trends and developments related to M&A tools and techniques
Maintain close dialogue to group strategy, understand the firms' ambitions and market commitments, understand equity analyst's expectations on the firms and how acquisition and disposal activity can provide appropriate levers and dials
Requirements:
High financial acumen with expertise in analyzing financial performance, managing budgets, and driving profitability through strategic decision-making
Managing deposit products and strategies, including pricing, growth initiatives, and compliance to optimize customer acquisition and retention
Developing and maintaining relationships with CX, PMO, Product Office and Finance to deliver sustainable solutions

Reporting and communications up to senior executives
Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, driving brand awareness, engagement, and measurable business results
An understanding of secondary product strategy and go-to-market execution
