Job Description

AVP – Cyber Audit (US) A senior audit role focused on providing independent assurance over cyber risk within a large, regulated financial services environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support planning and delivery of cyber audits aligned to internal standards and regulatory expectations
  • Lead audits or complex workstreams, assessing control design and operating effectiveness
  • Identify and articulate cyber risks across infrastructure, applications and third-party environments
  • Communicate clear findings and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Track regulatory developments and emerging cyber threats to inform audit priorities

Requirements

  • Experience in regulatory-driven audit or risk environments
  • Proven ability to lead audits, not solely execute testing
  • Strong understanding of cyber security controls, threat vectors and attack techniques relevant to large financial institutions
  • Ability to translate technical issues into clear business and risk impact
  • Experience auditing against recognized frameworks and standards

Nice to have

  • Financial services background
  • Familiarity with data analytics or scripting (e.g. Python)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
