Job Description:

The US Corporate Finance Group (CFG) is hiring an AVP - Analyst who will manage a portfolio of high yield and investment grade corporate credits within the homebuilding, building materials and packaging team coverage. This is a high-profile opportunity for someone who is passionate about demonstrating their credit and analytic competence while engaging with C-suite executives and the broader marketplace.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure ratings accuracy for the assigned portfolio through rigorous and timely credit analysis
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant sectors and issuers
  • Articulate robust credit views and make recommendations to rating committees
  • React promptly to new developments and market events
  • Build rapport with management teams and the broader marketplace, communicating critical credit views that enhance Moody’s Ratings’ relevance, expand our brand and reputation as a trusted source of credit insight

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of substantial credit and financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical ability and technical skills in accounting, financial statement and cash flow-based analysis, capital structures and debt documentation
  • Intellectual curiosity, honesty, thoroughness, sound judgment and ability to work independently and in a team
