Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP - Talent Acquisition. Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plan accordingly to HSBC's Resourcing strategy and ensuring all execution is aligned to the strategy. Implementation of a highly commercial resourcing operational platform in the region that maximizes candidate and hiring manager experience aligned to HSBC brand values. Drive resourcing agenda forward, as well as collaborating with region and group to implement global initiatives. Manage the whole resourcing process including delivery and governance, interviews and shortlisting, and oversight of onboarding process. Act as the HSBC accountable person for recruitment within a defined portfolio. Liaising with the Senior Recruitment Managers for support for activity outside of the outsource remit. Delivery of a proactive recruitment service and build up diverse sourcing channels. Supports workforce planning to enable proactive recruitment. Sharing recruitment plans and recruitment-related information to support hiring managers and candidates. Ensure a compliant and efficient resourcing service in line with KPI timescales.

Job Responsibility:

  • develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plan accordingly to HSBC's Resourcing strategy and ensuring all execution is aligned to the strategy
  • implementation of a highly commercial resourcing operational platform in the region that maximizes candidate and hiring manager experience aligned to HSBC brand values, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit and legislative requirements and operational excellence
  • drive resourcing agenda forward, as well as collaborating with region and group to implement global initiatives with ability to act globally and translate deliverables locally in home market to meet business needs
  • manage the whole resourcing process including delivery and governance, interviews and shortlisting, oversight of onboarding process and management of escalation
  • act as the HSBC accountable person for recruitment within a defined portfolio
  • liaising with the senior recruitment managers for support for activity outside of the outsource remit and strategic objectives
  • manage business stakeholder relationships and related communication
  • delivery of a proactive recruitment service and build up diverse sourcing channels, becoming an integral part of the Business Line success
  • ensuring work is undertaken to identify and pipeline strong calibre applicants to support future business needs
  • supports workforce planning to enable proactive recruitment
  • ensures the impact of policy decisions on recruitment are understood and mitigated
  • sharing recruitment plans and recruitment related business information to support hiring manager and candidate experience
  • ensure a compliant and efficient resourcing service in line with KPI timescales and team deliverable management
  • optimise working practice through the constant analysis and improvement to existing systems and process

Requirements:

  • significant recruitment experience with 10 years+ and track record of working in partnership with senior management and other HR colleagues in a large matrix environment
  • excellent knowledge of the recruitment market and well networked across the sector
  • experience of using Taleo (or other ATS) and knowledge of broader recruitment technology
  • excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employer branding
  • a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
  • experience of building and managing complex relationships with significant customers
