Morson Edge is looking for an SMU Avionic Operator – Maintenance to support the Typhoon aircraft programme in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded defence aviation environment, working on one of the world’s most advanced fast jet platforms. You’ll be part of a professional maintenance operation where standards are exacting, systems are structured, and skilled technicians are highly valued.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out scheduled avionic maintenance on Typhoon aircraft
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, servicing, overhaul, and testing activities
  • Perform fault diagnosis and recovery of aircraft systems
  • Complete modification embodiment activities as required
  • Ensure all work meets required quality and airworthiness standards
  • Complete maintenance records, aircraft forms, and documentation accurately
  • Maintain current authorisations for tasks undertaken
  • Highlight training needs or capability gaps to supervision
  • Complete all mandatory training within validity periods
  • Work fully in line with quality systems and technical publications

Requirements:

  • National Secondary Education completion
  • Level 2 Certificate in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience within an operational flying aircraft environment OR successful completion of relevant apprenticeship programme
  • Completion of relevant Technician Logbook tasks/projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership prior to start
