Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced AVI Networks & VMware NSX Engineer to support and manage enterprise-grade virtual networking and load balancing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi Networks) and VMware NSX with hands-on troubleshooting and operational support experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure, manage, and support VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi Networks)
  • Deploy and maintain VMware NSX networking components (routing, switching, firewall)
  • Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Ensure stability and return-to-service (RTR) after network changes or deployments
  • Work on load balancing policies, pools, VIPs, health monitors, and SSL certificates
  • Support network security policies and micro-segmentation in NSX
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and configuration standards

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi Networks)
  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX
  • Knowledge of load balancing concepts (L4/L7, VIP, pool, SSL, health checks)
  • NSX networking & security (micro-segmentation, distributed firewall)
  • Troubleshooting and operational support experience
  • Good communication & documentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in enterprise network environments
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere
  • Exposure to automation tools (Ansible / Python)
  • ITIL process understanding
