Job Description:

Leading the UK Technical Team, this position is fundamental to the Solution and Product Definition Strategy and supports the sales process from a technical perspective, both pre and post sales. This position requires a solutions-driven individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners. Strong management skills are crucial, with the individual being able to drive solutions, proactively seek information, manage multiple tasks and be very confident when speaking with customers / suppliers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Face to face and remotely consult with clients, current and potential, to help define their project requirements
  • Manage and coordinate technical design phases to meet customer needs
  • Proactively coordinate and activate resources as needed to achieve project goals
  • Engage and coordinate with internal teams, including Software Development (for project integrations), Delivery (to validate reliability and after-sales management), and Content Production (for cost analysis)
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on proposals and support pitches, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, appropriately designed, and aligned with customer requirements
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships between our client and various stakeholders
  • Design, suggest and test / implement new solutions
  • Provide remote and onsite support for installations
  • Produce technical documentation and manuals
  • Be driven by successful results, ensuring a professional manner from initial meeting to conclusion
  • Manage a small, focussed team
  • Follow Product Guidelines and stay aligned with market trends, competitors, and internal strategies

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working for an AV System Integrator
  • Motivated, determined and confident decision-making skills
  • Client communication skills, acting as a primary point of contact and representing the company professionally in meetings and on-site visits
  • Ability to coordinate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expertise in digital and interactive Audio/Video Hardware and Software. Specifically, LED, LFD screens and content management systems
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Infrastructure Knowledge, basics of networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, Firewalls)
  • Fundamental Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical engineering
  • Small Scale Audio Design and Commissioning
  • Experienced in creating technical proposals, diagrams, and presentations
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and implement effective resolutions

Nice to have:

Experience with some or all the following: Autocad, Visio (or similar), Solidworks
