The AV Field Support Services Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems across facilities. This role ensures seamless delivery of AV services for meetings, conferences, training sessions, and corporate events, supporting business operations with high-quality and reliable technology solutions.
Job Responsibility
Manage and maintain AV infrastructure including video conferencing systems, display screens, projectors, sound systems, and control systems
Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve AV-related technical issues promptly
Install, configure, and test AV equipment for meeting rooms, auditoriums, and collaboration spaces
Support system upgrades, integration, and commissioning of new AV technologies
Ensure all installations meet corporate standards and safety requirements
Provide onsite and remote technical support for internal and external events, including executive meetings
Operate AV systems during conferences, town halls, and training sessions
Coordinate with event organizers to understand AV requirements and deliver seamless execution
Administer and support platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other collaboration tools
Ensure smooth connectivity and performance for local and international meetings
Support hybrid meeting environments
Liaise with AV vendors and service providers for procurement, servicing, and upgrades
Work closely with IT teams, facilities management, and business stakeholders to deliver AV solutions
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs)
Maintain accurate documentation of AV systems, configurations, and procedures
Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and safety regulations
Develop user guides and provide training to end users when required
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Multimedia, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV engineering or related roles
Experience supporting enterprise-level AV systems in corporate environments
Familiarity with integrated AV solutions in large organizations is an advantage
