Job Responsibility
Lead all aspects of systems engineering activities with a strong focus on diagnostics
Ensure engineering deliveries are compliant with government regulations, such as OBD II, system safety and GM best practices
Provide diagnostic oversight and act as primary point of contact for concerns and questions related to system/component(s)
System Technical Specification development along with FMEA analysis will be fundamental aspects of the position
Lead peer reviews to ensure compliance to requirements
Communicates information to both internal and external customers
Requirements
3+ year of experience in requirements development, software development, integration, verification or testing, or implementing ISO 26262 and ASIL standards
Exposure to integrity-based diagnostic design principles, FMEA and systems thinking
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice to have
3+ year of experience developing hardware and/or software diagnostics
Experience with vehicle grade integration of SoC, MCU, diagnostics infrastructure and other platform related components
Ability to read/understand source code (C/C++) and Simulink models
Knowledge of 1968.2 OBDII Regulatory requirements
General knowledge of automotive systems (Active Safety, Powertrain, Chassis, and/or CAN/LIN communication)
