Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AV Design Engineer for a Department of Defense program located in Stuttgart, Germany. This is a permanent position supporting long-term work in support of the US Military.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and test complex AV and videoconference systems
  • Create drawing packages, bill of materials
  • Design A/V systems using Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.
  • Conduct site surveys to collect operational, functional, technical requirements
  • Develop project scopes, plans, proposals, budget/cost estimates
  • Develop and conduct user training and administrative training

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AV design
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD
  • Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and developing blueprints
  • Ability to travel throughout Europe up to 20% as needed
