Job Description:

Operate laundry machinery, inspect and process linens, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, follow company procedures, and support team goals in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
inspect cleanliness of articles
set dryers to designated times and temperatures
fold cleaned articles into designated size
maintain accurate records of items laundered
follow all safety policies and procedures
report accidents and unsafe conditions
maintain uniform and personal appearance
protect company assets
develop and maintain positive relationships with team members
ensure quality standards are met
visually inspect equipment and report defects
perform duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
inspect cleanliness of articles
set dryers to designated times and temperatures
remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap
fold cleaned articles into designated size
maintain accurate records of items laundered
follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
complete safety training and certifications
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
